Just got the go ahead for a new project. This one will be for a NYC restaurant and is interesting in that it's going to be quite different from my usual work. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
In the meantime, I'm still working on a commission for the private residence in West L.A.
Because I truly believe in networking as a great tool, I created a group for fine artists, consultants and other fine art professionals working in the hospitality, healthcare, corporate and public art sectors. I've called it the Professional Fine Art Network.
You can join it either on LinkedIn or Facebook and I've also set up a blog (click on the logo above). There are over 500 people listed as artists on LinkedIn alone and thousands of corporate and other entities who have art in their offices. Since LinkedIn has not been responsive in the past concerning adding a "Fine Art" component to their listings, I thought I'd take matters into my own hands (as if I need more to do !).
You all know how important networking is, or you wouldn't be reading this or have joined LinkedIn or Facebook in the first place. I've started putting links to members' websites on the blog and will continue to do so. It's a work in progress, so be patient.
